If you could know one fact about every person you ever meet, what particular fact would you want it to be? (Assume that the other person would not have to be aware that you know this fact about them.)
I'd want to know if they were truly happy with their lives. A lot of people can throw you for a loop; you assume that everything is peachy because that's how they present themselves but behind closed doors, it's an entirely different story.

If you could be one of America's "most wanted," but wanted because of some great skill you possess, what skill would you want to have?
I'd want to have the skill of being funny. Sometimes I like to think I'm hilarious but I don't always have the best timing or delivery.

Most people have a favorite story or experience that they love to share with other people. Here's your chance: What's your story?
This isn't one that I love telling but it's one my Grandpa gets a kick out of sharing. My Grandpa Shirley was a teacher at Cedar High for over 30 years. Every year, he'd tell this story to his class...even when I was in his class. You guessed it, it's about me.
I was four years old and everyday while my mom and dad were at work, I'd hang out with Grandma and Grandpa at their house. Being the oldest grandchild, I got spoiled (yes, I'll admit it). Grandma and Grandpa took me to get a shaved ice after we did grocery shopping. I got the suicide flavor...the kind with every single color mushed together. On our drive back home, there was a lot of traffic. Grandma was driving and we were sitting there waiting to turn into the driveway. There was a break in traffic so Grandma had to gun it pretty quick before the next car came. I was unprepared during all of this and on the turn, my shave ice started spilling everywhere. I got mad and said, "Dammit Grandma, you're spillin my rainbow!"

What is something that many people consider a modern-day convenience that you, quite frankly, consider a pain in the neck?
I've used this answer on another question but I'm gonna use it again: cellphones! They are getting so ridiculously expensive and can do everything for you. All I want is a phone so I can call people and text. Who needs internet on their phone?? Just get it at your house. You don't need the internet with you every second of your day. With all the "enhancements" that cellphones have, people are addicted and can't live without them. You know the type: every ten minutes on facebook they're letting the whole world know what they're up to..."Getting to class late this morning." "At the gym." "Running home to shower." "In the shower." I've been guilty of this a time or two also...posting the most insignificant things. But these people with their "smartphones" update every ten minutes just because they can.

If you could invent a pair of glasses that would allow you to see abstract things (ie. the motives behind someone's actions), what would you want to see most of all?
Hmm...I'd want to see how a person really feels when they're talking. Like when something is bothering you, everyone can tell you're upset and they ask you, "What's the matter?" You say, "Oh it's nothing, I'm fine." I know I'm guilty of this; I lie about how I feel all the time. Not about important things, but if something ticks me off, 99% of the time I'll act like I'm okay with it even if I'm not.

If you had the time and money and could go on any month-long summer adventure of your choice, what would you choose to do?
I'm gonna opt not to choose some place tropical; that's everyone's answer for everything. I saw on a website once (thenest.com) a post about the top five vacations you are supposed to take before you have kids. Obviously, people don't take all five trips before starting a family (who has the time or money for that??) but one that really caught my eye was New Zealand. It's not usually topping my list of places I want to visit but I think it would be very adventurous to go there! Plenty of hiking, biking, kayaking, rock climbing and even base jumping! Since this is a very hypothetical question, we'll just pretend that I'd be brave enough to do all those things :)

What thought or sentiment would you like to have copied and put into one million fortune cookies?
"None of the secrets of success will work unless you do."
I was brought up in a home with two working parents. They both came from families where working was important; nobody had a free ride and there were no excuses for being lazy. Growing up, it was engrained in my head that if I wanted something, it was my responsibility to earn it.
