What is something that many people consider a modern-day convenience that you, quite frankly, consider a pain in the neck?

I've used this answer on another question but I'm gonna use it again:  cellphones!  They are getting so ridiculously expensive and can do everything for you.  All I want is a phone so I can call people and text.  Who needs internet on their phone??  Just get it at your house.  You don't need the internet with you every second of your day.  With all the "enhancements" that cellphones have, people are addicted and can't live without them.  You know the type:  every ten minutes on facebook they're letting the whole world know what they're up to..."Getting to class late this morning."  "At the gym."  "Running home to shower."  "In the shower."  I've been guilty of this a time or two also...posting the most insignificant things.  But these people with their "smartphones" update every ten minutes just because they can.
