CPQ #20

If you could "uninvent" any past invention, which one would it be? (Consider all the ramifications of eliminating this invention.)

Surprisingly, I'd want to uninvent cell phones.  Funny coming from someone who was absolutely obsessed with texting all through high school but really, people can do without all that.  Every two weeks there's another model of the latest and greatest "smart phone" and calling plans are outrageously expensive.  I'll admit--there are times when cell phones are very convenient but society survived for 1900 years without them.
