CPQ #38

What is the most interesting course you have ever taken in school?  On the other hand, what is the most boring course you have ever taken in school?

Most interesting class would be Culinary Arts that I took senior year of high school.  It was the most interesting and most relevant; cooking food is important, ya know!  It went beyond basic baking skills and we even took a fieldtrip to Las Vegas to a fancy chef school (very cool).  For a while after I graduated, I was obsessed with wanting to become a chef.  Don't know what ever happened to that dream, though.

Most boring class ever taken was Sociology 1010 from SUU.  Yes I know that people are different; different cultures, different religions, different languages.  Our teacher was from Canada and read to us straight from the textbook.  It was hard not to fall asleep.  Jesse and I would try to find humor in it though; his Canadian accent slurred words a bit.  Our favorite one to make fun of was the word "class".  Most people, when saying this word, have more of an emphasis on the last three letters.  Our teacher would pronounce it "closs".  He would completely remove the "ah" sound from the "a"; he was essentially saying "gloss" but with a "c".  At least I learned something from this class:  Canadians talk funny.
